Predict your future

I am sure we have at some point seen or heard of fortune tellers or people who are said to have future predicting abilities. Some have crystal balls, some read palms and some just stare into your eyes and rub your head or something then tell you what your future holds. I have often wondered myself then if my future is in my hands or it is already predestined? Jeremiah 29 vs 11 which is one of the most quoted verses in the bible says "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Woow so it means that our lives have already been planned by the Lord and the plans are not to harm us or to cause us suffering but instead to make us prosper and become the best versions of ourselves in accordance to his will.

The question now becomes "Why then do we have people who are suffering?" Well while I might not have all the answers, the word does tell us that the Lord loves us so dearly and his plans for us are good in nature. However it is quite possible for someone to deviate from the path that would have been set by the Lord and thereby forfeit the good plans that would have been laid down for them. Deuteronomy 30 vs 19 says "This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live". Here the Lord is telling us something in relation to free will. You have your life that is predestined already and it is a life of prosperity but it comes at the price of obeying and following God's commands. You can choose to go against it but the Lord tells us it is in vain and leads to death.

So now that you are aware of the good life that is set for you, how do you attain it and live within that reality. You can change your world by changing your vocabulary remember "Death and life are in the power of the tongue" ~ Proverbs 18 vs 21. By constantly speaking life over your situations and always affirming that indeed you are prosperous and living in the plan for your life set by God then surely  you will live the life you have always wanted to live. It is quite easy to see where a person is going based on what they say and how they say it.

A friend of mine recently highlighted to me how easily people speak hardships and misfortunes over their lives by always complaining and speaking negatively about everything from the economy to the people in charge even to the weather. 

The more you continue to speak evil and complaining the more you become used to it and the more you attract to  yourself. For example someone who always complains about their finances may never have a lasting breakthrough because their mind is filled with lack and not having. The correct way to think and speak would be from a position of abundance so that your mind adjusts to that way of living.. This will cause a shift in your direction immediately because you begin to see things from a different perspective.

Predict your future by declaring what you want it to be and how you want it to be all in line with God's plan for your life. Have a blessed, fruitful week and Thank God its Monday

" The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD " ~ King Solomon(Proverbs 21 vs 31).This is a verse I got from my little brother during one of our family devotions and it really got me thinking. In ancient times the horse was considered one of the finest beasts man could ever own and use for his/her personal use. Before it was used for agricultural purposes it was mostly used for transportation and for war as the soldiers would ride atop of it into battle. The horses were readied for battle a day or 2 prior to battle so that when the day arrives they are in perfect shape and would prove to be an advantage to their owners. Value your identity

Our past as many would argue is always going to be a huge part of our life. The sad part is a majority of the memories we remember are those in which our lives were at an all time low. This can be a certain failure, heartbreak or some other catastrophic event. Continuously replaying such events unintentionally molds us into the people we are and would result in loss of confidence, depression and just a general lack of purpose or value in life. If these things don't shape us then the constant criticism we receive from friends and family molds us unfortunately.
