The opposite side of fear

We have all been through times or met people who have made us feel like we aren't worth as much as we feel we are. We have been through times where we ourselves question our own self-worth. The good news is "someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality", this statement has the potential to change your entire life if you believe in it. This has propelled many successful people into chasing their dreams which brings me to the number one dream killer FEAR. People don't go after what they want because they fear failure, rejection, judgement and worst of all they fear getting out of their comfort zone. This entire year is all about breaking all these barriers that are put up by fear by mastering the emotion itself. I have done some research throughout the week on how people who have made it in life have conquered their fears and marched onward to their destinies.
  • Focus on the result
Before we venture into anything new, there is always that fear that arises from the surrounding environment. Most of us don't develop our courage muscle simply because we don't find that one thing that keeps us driven and determined. Focusing on the end result not only pumps you up and makes you want to work harder to reach it but it also gives you something to work towards. Just like Peter when Jesus asked him to walk on water and come to  him, focus on the end result only and pay no mind to surrounding challenges but conquer them.
  • Find your why
For every successful person there is a problem that was solved. Whatever you plan on venturing into make sure that your reason for pursuing it is stronger than all the other opposing factors. When you have found your why then your task/mission/or goal becomes a necessity where you now shift to saying "I must do this". Make your reason a strong one and believe in it.
  • Define what you are afraid of
Another thing that may stop one from truly realising their full potential is not being fully aware of what they are up against. Some fears are magnified simply because we haven't taken the time to sit down and completely analyze where the fear is coming from. We should clearly define our fears and then find ways in which we can overcome them. This is a guaranteed way to get over whatever it is you fear.
  • "I CAN DO IT"
Doubt is so often very common in the lives of aspiring entrepreneurs, doctors, scientists or anyone in any field. It is this doubt that keeps you stuck in your comfort zone and keeps you grounded. Telling yourself that you can do anything and actually proceeding to do it gives you so much power and authority over your own life. One of my favorite verses in the bible is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" ~ Philippians 4 vs 13. So whatever it is that you want to venture into YOU CAN DO IT
Remember God intentionally put all the good things in life on the opposite side of fear. Imagine you are in your old age and the thoughts of the dreams and things you could have done are haunting you day and night. Live a regret free life starting today and overcome your fears. You are amazing, you are the best at what you do and you are going to succeed in everything you put your mind to. Have a blessed week and Thank God its Monday
