Recharge your mind

I believe that for many of us this has been a very interesting year in terms of challenges and achieving our goals. From the time I started publishing content every week I have realized a considerable level of growth in my own life. It is usually around this time of the year that people realize how far they have come throughout the course of the year and it is of paramount importance that you reward yourself this festive season. Remember your mind is your most crucial asset so keeping it charged up and sharp will surely be an advantage next year. As usual I thought I would share a few of my top tips that will help you recharge:
  •  Relax
A lot of people often misuse or misunderstand the concept of relaxing. The most widely used definition would be idleness or being a couch potato and watch television or play games all holiday. This doesn’t help relax in any way because what we are trying to achieve is mental relaxation were the mind just takes a break. Try enjoying quiet alone time for the first 20 to 30 minutes of your day and at intervals during the day.
  • Hobbies
We all have little things that we enjoy doing in our spare time. Seeing how a lot will have quiet a few days of spare time, it would be best to follow through on these hobbies. Some would opt to read, some would opt to visit friends and some just enjoy quiet time with their music. Dedicate a large chunk of the day to just following through on that 1 hobby that makes you feel good. This will surely help your mind to recover.

I think we all made a considerable amount of progress in all areas which is more than enough reason to just kick back for a bit and enjoy yourself. Recharge yourself this festive season for in the new year the fight for success wages on. Enjoy the holidays and Thank God its Monday
